Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and greet people that come to the office; route requests to appropriate person - Sort and distribute incoming mail - Order supplies and maintain an inventory of forms, supplies and other materials - Print weekly bulletins and choir hymns and distribute to designated areas - Schedule appointments for staff a needed - Coordinate calendars and schedules for staff as requested - Assist church staff and volunteers with various ministry requests - Update databases with program, member and volunteer information - Manage background check process for volunteers and staff - Receive payments - Manage staff use of church van - Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
Experience:
- Prior office administration experience - Proficient in Microsoft programs, excel, email and internet - Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Attention to detail - Must be reliable - Must be trusted to maintain strict confidentiality related to financial and other personal information obtained in the course of the job - Must be congenial, pleasant and helpful to all persons with whom contact is made - Strong written and verbal communication skills -Excellent team work skills Note:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
