- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment - Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns - Escort guests to their tables and present menus - Take and process guest orders accurately using the POS system - Handle cash transactions and provide guests with accurate change - Maintain a clean and organized host/cashier station - Assist with seating arrangements and manage the waitlist during peak hours - Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven experience in guest relations or customer service roles - Familiarity with POS systems is preferred - Knowledge of hotel, food service, or restaurant industry is a plus - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism - Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time.
